RTP Young Actors Academy
The Value of Theatre Education
Theatre education offers students more than just performance skills. It builds confidence, encourages creativity, and strengthens collaboration.
Through the art of storytelling, students explore essential techniques such as improvisation, voice work, and character development, gaining a well-rounded foundation that supports both artistic growth and personal expression.
Skills That Last
Through improvisation, voice work, scene study, and character development, students learn to communicate, take creative risks, and work as part of an ensemble.
Young Actors Academy
Each spring, Rivertowne Players offers a supportive program where young people can learn, create, and thrive. Whether they are new to the stage or ready to deepen their skills.
Young Actors Academy Returns January 2027
Our next Young Actors Academy begins in January 2027, giving young performers the opportunity to build their skills, grow in confidence, and work together toward a fully staged musical production.
Program details and registration information will be announced soon.
